Angry Birds has taken the gaming world by storm and it will soon be on just about every platform imaginable.

During the fourth quarter of Superbowl XLV last night, a 30-second commercial was aired that featured the newest version of the Angry Birds game, which also included a hidden code that allows access to a secret Angry Birds level. Anyway via twitter Angry Birds developer Rovio confirmed they are planning to bring the game to the Nintendo 3DS later this year saying: “Wii and 3DS later in the year.”

What’s more he also stated that the Nintendo 3DS release will be available via digital download only: “We prefer downloads and digital distribution on all platforms, it’s green like the pigs.”
