T-Mobile have just accidentally leaked a new phone from LG called the myTouch. The carrier uploaded three videos onto their YouTube channel which appeared to be tutorials, however before they could change them to private AndroidGuys managed to catch a quick look.
The length of the videos suggest they were some kind of tutorial for the camera feature on the phone. Whilst both phones look the same the names for two of the videos suggests otherwise. One is called the Camera Touch 1280×720 while the other is called Camera QWERTY 1280×720; which suggests one will be a touch only device and the other will have a QWERTY keyboard.
Rumors of a LG Maxx phone heading to T-Mobile were confirmed back in March when details were leaked in a T-Mobile roadmap, which also indicated they would be released in November. In May there were rumors of a LG Maxx Q phone heading to T-Mobile with a QWERTY keyboard. The similarities seem to suggest that “LG Maxx” and “LG Maxx Q” were just a codenames and it will go on sale as the LG myTouch and LG myTouch Q retrospectively.
The specs being rumored are a 3.5? HVGA display, an 800MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512MB of RAM, a 5.0-megapixel rear-facing camera and it will be running Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
