Samsung have officially revealed the price for their upcoming Galaxy Tab 8.9 Wi-Fi, they listed the tablet on their official website. They have the 16GB version of the Galaxy Tab 8.9 Wi-Fi priced at $469, with the 32GB version costing an extra $100 at $569.
They both have a 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and are running Android 3.1 Honeycomb alongside Samsung’s TouchWiz UI. In terms of cameras, they have a 2 megapixel front-facing camera and 3 megapixel rear-facing auto focus camera with flash.
The listing doesn’t confirm a release date and only says the Galaxy Tab 8.9 is “coming soon”, however it is widely expected to be released in the US later this month. An LTE version of the tablet is also expected in some countries later this year, if released in the US will likely be available on AT&T or Verizon who now both support LTE.
