Samsung release Android update for Galaxy S II with new features

Samsung have released the latest Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread update for the Galaxy S II. The update includes the very latest version of Google’s Gingerbread operating system which includes changes to the scrolling mechanism in order to prevent patent infringement and adds a couple of new features to the phone.

One of the new features that will be added to the phone is “Big Home” which increases the icon size by 30%. Next feature is the System Update widget. The new update brings firmware-over-the-air widget that allows instant access to update phone software and notify if a new one is available.
