Following the annoucement of the Samsung Galaxy Note at the IFA technology show in Berlin last week, UK customers can now pre-order the device but at a cost.
Online retailer Clove have the product listed for pre-order with a huge price tag of £600 ($957), the release date still remains a mystery.
Clove had this to say, “Please be aware that at this stage the price is unconfirmed, but we have enabled the buy facility with a speculative price to give customers the opportunity to register an interest and reserve a handset.”
The huge price is for the SIM Free handset, however as no price has been announced yet we suspect Clove are being over cautious with their estimate and the actual price will be lower.
On the site they go on to describe the smartphone as “classic stylus technology of the original PDA meets the cutting-edge features of the modern day smartphone to create a unique Android device.”
For those who missed the annoucement of the Galaxy Note at IFA last week, it will boast a massive 5.3-inch HD Super AMOLED display with 800×1280 resolution which is unrivaled on the current smartphone market. It comes with a PDA style ‘Smart Pen’
The Galaxy Note will be running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and will be powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor. Other features include a 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera and 16GB of onboard storage.
