Samsung have officially announced a rather unexpected device to their range of tablets, the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. The 7-inch tablet comes in both 16GB and 32GB versions. It has 1.2GHz dual-core dual-core processor, 3-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus and an LED flash and 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
It measures in at 193.65 x 122.37 x 9.96mm and weighs 345g despite a large 4,000 mAh Li-Ion battery. The triband (900/1900/2100) HSPA+ offers speeds of 21Mbps download and 5.76Mbps upload. In addition to that there’s WiFi a/b/g/n with 2.4GHz and 5GHz support, WiFi Channel Bonding, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 3.0 and USB 2.0.
The Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet is set to go on sale at the end of October. No price has been confirmed yet.
