Medion have just unveiled their upcoming Android tablet device and smartphone at the ongoing IFA 2011 technology show in Berlin. They were keen to keep details about the new products under wraps so therefore taking any photos in their booth was strictly prohibited.
Lifetab P9514
The German PC maker unveiled their upcoming tablet called the Lifetab P9514 featuring 32GB of built-in storage, a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and a multitouch display with 1280 x 800 resolution. It will be running the Honeycomb 3.2 version of Google’s Android OS.
The device Will supports both quad-band 3G and WiFi connections, along with the usual features such as HDMI, microSD and mircoUSB.
Medion smartphone
The name of Medion’s new smartphone has not been announced at this point. What we do know however is that the device will boast a 4.3-inch display and will have 5 megapixel camera. It also comes preloaded with the GoPal app.
Release dates for the devices are unconfirmed, however it is expected they will ship later this year in Europe with the Lifetab P9514 costing €399 ($564).
