New leaked screenshots of the HTC Holiday have surfaced today which show it running on AT&T. They show it being tested on the carrier’s 4G LTE network which suggests the smartphone could be heading for a release on the AT&T network very soon.
We have already seen many leaked images of the HTC Holiday and know most of the specs, so these new images don’t show us much we didn’t already know in terms of hardware and software. However this is the first look at speedtest results whilst running on the AT&T 4G LTE network.
Apparently the new screenshot below shows the HTC Holiday running on the AT&T 4G LTE network in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in Texas. Speeds reach an amazing 29Mbps. To put that into perspective, the average download speed for someone on a 4G network is round 3.5Mbps.
The Holiday is expected to be one of the first smartphones on AT&T’s 4G LTE network which is expected later this year.
For those who have been living under a rock the HTC Holiday is going to be a real powerhouse of a smartphone. It will boast a 4.5-inch qHD display and will be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. It will have a 8-megapixel rear-facing camera. It will run on Google’s Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread OS. It also appears to be running a custom version of HTC’s Sense 3.0 UI.
