Tip UsLeaked XML code from Samsung has confirmed the the Nexus Prime. The Nexus Prime is the follow up to the Nexus S and is rumored to be the first smartphone that will be released on Google’s Ice Cream Sandwich Android OS.
The leaked screenshot above which is just a small section of the XML code seems to confirm that Samsung are the company behind the upcoming Nexus Phone, if this proves to be true they will be the first Android manufacturer to get two Nexus phones in a row.
The file nexusprime.xml, appears on the Samsung mobile site which is further proof Samsung will be the manufacturers for the Nexus Prime. The file reveals some interesting details regarding the Nexus Prime, some of which don’t seem to legitimate.
The device is code-named the GT-I9250 but the surprising detail in the file says it will have a 480 x 800 pixel display, contrary to previous reports that it will sport a 720p HD display. Whether Samsung have purposely falsified the information to throw people off remains to be seen.
In other news at the Dreamforce conference in San Francisco this week there was news regarding the Ice Cream Sandwich OS,; Eric Schmidt said, “We have a new operating system, internally known as Ice Cream Sandwich for some reason, which is being released in October/November, which everyone’s really excited about.”
