iPhone 4S cases arrive at AT&T stores

iPhone 4S cases have started arriving at AT&T stores across the country ahead of its expected release next month. Images of the cases were posted online by BGR who obtained them from a tipster who goes by the name Chronic. One of the cases is from case manufacturer Otterbox, the other from Speck.

We can clearly see on the front of the Otterbox packaging the words “iPhone 4S” and on the back a picture of the case shows a new location for the volume buttons on the right.

The other case from Speck, shows the new iPhone 4S case alongside their previous iPhone 4 version of the case. The case is black with a red logo and is red-rimmed around the edges. Of course the most significant features on the new iPhone 4S case in the larger hole for the camera.

Previous Speck cases for the iPhone 4 have always had a similar sized space for the camera, so this larger space for the camera is almost certainly for the new camera on the iPhone 4S.

With news of an Apple media event on October 4 that we reported yesterday, this is even more proof that we’ll be seeing the iPhone 4S make an appearance at the event.
