The first thing to notice about the HTC Vigor is the stylish new body. The front of the body looks similar to many of the other HTC smartphones already on the market but the back of the phone sports a sexy new design from HTC.
We’ve already heard many rumors regarding the HTC Vigor; it’s reported to be running Android 2.3.4, the latest version of the Google-backed Gingerbread mobile OS and running HTC Sense 3.5.
It will be powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and have a 4.3-inch 1280×720 pixel HD display. It will also feature a 8MP rear-facing camera with dual-LED flash and 2MP front-facing camera. The are also reports suggesting it will be the first HTC product to feature Dr. Dre audio technology.
The HTC Vigor is rumored to be released on October 5 but is hard to say which HTC smartphone it will replace. It could well replace the HTC ThunderBolt, however the red ring round the camera suggests it will replace the Droid Incredible 2… is hard to say.
Also there are no markings or brandings on the phone, so is difficult to say which carrier it will be on. This also suggests it’s a pre-production model, rather than the finished product that could well look a lot different.
