HTC have officially announced the latest phone to join their line-up, the HTC Raider 4G LTE.
At the moment the powerhouse of a smartphone which is sporting a stunning 4.5-inch qHD display has only been announced for South Korea. It has a 1.5GHz dual-core processor along with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. In Korea the Raider has amazing download speeds up to 100Mbps and upload speeds of 50Mbps.
The phone has a 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera. They both offer HD picture quality (1080p and 720p) for recording, with wide angle lens features coming later this year in a firmware update. It will be running the latest version of Android Gingerbread alongside the Sense 3.0 UI.
The other features are what you’ve come to expect from other high-end phones on the market; WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS and a 1620 mAh battery. It measures only 128.mm x 67mm x 11.27mm and weighs in at only 163.g.
There is still no word of an international release date though rumors are suggesting AT&T will get the 4G LTE phone at some point.
