A few days a go we brought you leaked renders of the LG LU200, which was reported to be a real powerhouse of a phone packing a 1.5GHz processor, 720p display and LTE.
Well some real-life photos of the device have now been spotted on Korean-based site Daum, who also confirm that it will be released in Korea as the LG Optimus LTE on the U+ carrier.
As we previously reported the phone is going to have some impressive specs. It’s packing a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualomm Snapdragon processor and is the world’s first device with a AH-IPS display on a 4.5-inch 1280 x 720 pixel screen. It’s packing one of the biggest smartphone batteries; a 1830mAh battery.
Other features include a 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, 1.3 megapixel front-facing VGA camera, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of onboard storage and all the other usual features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DLNA and GPS.
The phone in the photos is running on the Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS, however it is expected that it will be upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwhich 2.4.0.
This device will be launched in Korea as LG Optimus LTE (U+) and is expected to go on sale next week, with worldwide release next month. For now outside Korea the phone will keep the codename LG LU6200 until they choose a more suitable name for launch.
