Tip UsJust last year, the iPhone 4 was a huge hit when Apple unveiled it during the WWDC event. This year however, Apple will be releasing an improved version of the iPhone 4. The iPhone 5 is on its way and is scheduled to be released this June. But only a month away, speculations say that it may have to be pushed to August or September of this year. I guess we will find out in a couple of months. For now, however, we can only speculate about the iPhone 5…
Prediction #1: Rumors have it that the new iPhone 5 will be a 4G phone much like what Sprint and Verizon now has.
According to MobileCrunch, however, it is rather unlikely for the iPhone 5 to have that technology and even if it does, it will not be of much use until as 4G technology has not been implemented in many areas of the world just yet.
Prediction #2: Another rumor to watch for in the new iPhone 5 is its tap and go mobile payment capacity. Is it really possible to just leave your cash and credit card at home because all you need is your iPhone? With its e-wallet, will it actually be possible to pay your bills and shop? Well, it looks like we will find out in a couple of months. If this rumor is true, however, can you just imagine how incredibly convenient shopping would be?
Prediction #3: Because of the complaints of users of iPhone 4 wherein it has no signal when held in a certain way or direction, it is rather likely for iPhone 5 to have a better antenna as it is redesigned in order to ensure customer satisfaction. After all, Apple would not want to ruin its reputation with another blunder like the antenna of iPhone 4.
Prediction #4: Made to compete with the Google Android, iPhone 5’s screen is rumored to be larger than the former iPhone models. It will conform to the 4 to 7 inch smartphone platform. If this turns out to be true, would you still rather get an iPhone or get a Google Android instead?
Prediction #5: As a reaction to the complaints of iPhone 4 users wherein the glass covering gets scratched easily, the new iPhone 5 is rumored to have a sturdier body as it is cased with an aluminum back. Never have to worry about scratches again!
Prediction #6: There were also rumors that Apple is coming up with an iPhone Nano which will be a slimmer, smaller, lighter and more affordable version of the iPhone. This rumor is highly unlikely though but who knows, maybe Apple will just surprise us one of these days.
Prediction #7: Rumors say that iPhone 5 users can look forward to more speed because it will use the A5 chip which is the same chip used in the iPad. This is rather likely since the technology is available.
