For the last couple of weeks, the internet has been buzzing with ‘leaked’ photos of the Motorola Droid Bionic revealing it to be a 4G LTE smartphone with a 4.3 inch qHD display.
New pictures revealed Bionic would be sporting a jazzy looking 4.3 inch High definition display, contrary to rumors it would feature a 4.5 inch display. Droid fans has been hoping for a long time that Bionic would come with a bigger display, but as for now their hopes seems to be dashed.
In regards to the hardware aspect, it seems to have a micro HDMI slot on the side, quite unique we must admit. Till now, we have been receiving information that the smartphone comes with a 4G LTE and a dual-core 1 GHz OMAP. If you are fussy about the camera quality of your smartphone — Bionic’s 8MP camera comes with the ability to capture 1080p HD video even in low-light which makes it something special. The front facing camera is also capable of supporting Video Chat.
In the communication field, Motorola Droid Bionic is surely not lagging behind — it comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v2.1 and GSM capabilities. According to the information leaked, it’s also going to have 3G/4G wireless hotspot supporting facility and in the US it would be carried exclusively on Verizon Wireless.
Motorola Droid Bionic: Coming with World Phone GSM options?
Based on the ‘user manual’ another rumor has been doing the rounds — Droid Bionic is going to be supporting World Phone GSM capabilities, or to rephrase it would have CDMA/GSM/LTE integrated at the same time.
Apart from the fact that Motorola has gone for FCC filing, there’s not much confirmed information on the Droid Bionic. The mostly common rumor is that it’s going to be releases sometime in first week September, but there’s no official word from Motorola.
Be sure to keep a close eye on the smartphone war, as it’s getting heated up fiercely among competitors Apple, Samsung, Nokia and HTC.
