First sneak of the Motorola Droid HD, more snaps of Bionic too

For the first time images of a Motorola Droid HD have surfaced alongside some more snaps of the Droid Bionic.

Motorola Droid HD: Has anyone heard of this before?

Up until now there has been no word of a Droid HD — but leaked images have been posted online that offer us a first look at this smartphone. The images were posted by engadget who received them from a tipster.

Though there is no information available regarding the specs, it seems from the snaps that the Droid HD will boast a front facing camera and a 8MP rear facing one alongside normal HDMI or microUSB ports. Also the pics revealed a power-button, volume rocker and a bulge for the camera button, LED and speaker trio.

In recent months we have hearing a lot about the Motorola ‘Dinara’ — a smartphone sporting a 13MP camera. Perhaps, with Droid HD as a replacement that will be shelved for sometime soon.

Now,on to the interesting part — as the name says ‘HD’; we can expect a 1280×720 screen, (or at-least a qHD) of 4.5-inch. In recent times Motorola has been synonymous with large display device; so this is certainly not a surprise at all. With regards to the Operating System, it’s obvious that Droid HD will be running on Gingerbread though anything can’t be presumed on the processor type. From the pics, it seems Droid HD is coming in an ultrathin form, but it would be interesting to see if Motorola can cut down below 8.5mm.

Motorola Droid Bionic: More images leaked; much clearer this time

Some  snaps of the Motorola Droid Bionic have been released too — much clearer compared to the others that have been already been making the rounds on the internet.
Some information on the hardware specifications have been confirmed — all of which were quite expected. The Bionic will run on the Texas instrument’s dual core 1 GHz Arm Cortex 9 powered OMAP 4430 processor accompanied by 1GB of RAM. Just like the HD, Bionic will also be have a 8MP camera and a 4.5 inch ‘wide’ display.

It will be interesting to see when these two are going to be launched and whether modifications will be made to them before release. Let us know what you think via Twitter, Facebook or leave us a comment below.

There is so much to love about the
Droid Bionic. Mainly, it has a dual-core processor, and 4G. I am a big movie
streamer, so with all of these features, the Bionic should have no problem
keeping up with me. The app that I use to stream is the DISH Remote Access app.
I love this app because it lets me stream movies and TV shows anywhere I am! As
a customer and employee of DISH Network, I have been using the DISH Remote
Access app for a long time on my previous phone, and I know that it is going to
work great on the Droid Bionic once it comes out! I hope it doesn’t take too
long for it to come out!
